Group Sales

General Groups

There are plenty of benefits to making a group reservation!

  • Get the best seats available.
  • Buy before single tickets go on sale to the public.
  • Group Organizer for a group of 15 or more will receive one complimentary ticket.
  • No service fees added to group reservations.
Rates

Group discounts range from 10 – 30% depending on the day of the week. Discounts can be applied to Section A and Section B seats. Prices vary by performance. For more information, call our box office at 619-337-1525.

Payment

A 50% deposit is needed to reserve your seats. The final count and payment are due 2 weeks prior to your performance. This can be done via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover), cash, or check.

Tickets

Once we have received your payment in full, your tickets will be held at Will Call.

You may adjust the size of your group (increase or decrease) up to two weeks prior to your performance. Once the final payment has been made, tickets may still be added at the group rate (depending on availability), however the size cannot be reduced due to our no refunds policy. Group rates and promotions are subject to availability and may be changed at any time.

Reception package

We have many suggestions to help make your evening memorable. Cygnet Theatre is happy to offer its spacious outdoor patio as a perfect pre-show private party setting for your group (for groups of 15 or more), or we can also recommend a number of restaurants within easy walking distance of our theatre. Special accommodations

When placing your reservation, please advise our Patron Services Representative if you have group members with special seating needs (wheelchair, walker, trouble climbing stairs, etc.). We will be happy to assist.

Groups wth children

Children between the ages of 5-15 get half off the regular ticket price! Due to the intimate nature of our theatre, we do not allow children under the age of 5 to attend performances.

Cygnet Theatre welcomes you and your students to enjoy quality theatre at affordable rates. Discover why countless schools and universities have chosen our award-winning company for their students.

  • The theatre is only available when a Cygnet Theatre show is in production.
  • Cygnet Theatre productions run Wednesday through Friday evenings, and two shows on Saturday and Sunday. This leaves Monday and Tuesday evenings available for rent.
  • The space may be rented for weekday daytime events, depending on the Cygnet Theatre rehearsal schedule.

Our current rental available is extremely limited. We can currently only offer off-night performances during dates where our productions are open at the Old Town Theatre. No dates are available between productions and due to our schedule, we cannot offer multiple date rentals.

Tickets for

FAQs

What is the minimum group size?

All you need is 8 people to qualify as a group.

When is deposit and final payment required?

The 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking and final payment is due 2 weeks prior to performance date.

Can I change my order?

Yes! Group orders can be adjusted until the time of final payment. However once final payment has been received, there are no cancellations or refunds. You can add on additional seats even after you have finalized your order with no additional service charge.

Do all seats have to be located in the same section to qualify as a group order?

Tickets can be located in any section as long as they add up to a minimum of 8 tickets.

Can my group members adjust my order?

For your protection, only the group leader or someone you as the group leader has designated on your account can make adjustments.

If you have someone that will be assisting you such as a co-chair, secretary/assistant, spouse, relative or co-worker and you would like them to be able to modify your seats or make a payment, provide their first and last name and we will add them to your account.

How soon can I get my group tickets?

You can pick up your group tickets once payment is made in full. They will be held at Will Call until your scheduled performance.

Is parking free in Old Town?

Yes! Most of the parking in Old Town is free. We have a small lot adjacent to the theatre reserved two hours before each performance, though this can fill up very quickly. There are several other lots nearby, as well as lots of residential parking. Due to the large number of restaurants and attractions in the area, we always recommend allowing 30 minutes for parking. How long are performances?

Performance lengths vary, typically 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours, and can change up until Opening Night. We recommend calling the Box Office as close to your scheduled performance as possible for the most accurate run time.
